Biography of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born in the city of Mecca in present-day Saudi Arabia in 570 CE. His father, Abdullah, passed away before he was born and his mother, Amina, died when he was only six years old. He was raised by his grandfather and later by his uncle.
